The Nano-Robots in my Brain have been Watching You from Across the Bar

It was late Summer of 2026, and Janice could have been having a better year. Or, a better life, even. Homeless, hungry, and running out of places to just be.

Fortunately, the security program, or guardian spirit, or whatever it was that was overseeing an old alien probe full of self replicating nanites buried in the ground tended to agree with her. Or maybe it was just a figment of her subconscious. In any case, during a dream one night, while she was camped out on an abandoned farmland dotted with strange round hills all over it, she was given a deeply clichéd offer.

At least, that's what she now says.

And it might be hard to ignore how the following events tend to corroborate her story.

You've probably read the eye witness accounts of a certain county brewpub wolfgirl. An urban legend that's obviously been exaggerated from any sort of truth, and fed to the gullible media like it actually happened.
