SHED EVERYTHING

Keith Michaelson is a 12 yo who knows she's not supposed to be a boy. But as a 6th grader in the late '80s, she's not going to tell anybody that! And, the only way she can imagine becoming what she really is, is through the impossible, magic, a miracle.

One morning, she wakes up convinced it's really going to happen. She even gets the cramps. But it's when she starts shedding her human skin that it becomes clear that no one is ready for what she's about to become.

Only, transformation doesn't come easy, and it looks like it's going to take a while. But should she tell someone before they notice, or what?
